Val was involved in a horse riding accident that resulted in extensive surgery and left her with one leg several inches shorter than the other. Her determination and energy are such that her response to this setback was, with the support of Enham’s business ability initiative, to launch her own racing training yard. Val is lucky to be walking, let alone to have taken on one of the world’s highest mountains. But that is Val through and through, as we will witness.
